Who is Brigid?

In the 7th century, St. Brigid of Kildare helped a young woman who had broken her vow of chastity and became pregnant. According to legend, Brigid waved her hands over the woman’s belly and, “exercising the strength of her ineffable faith, blessed her, caused the fetus to disappear without coming to birth, and without pain.”

Is The Brigid Alliance Operating Following the 'Dobbs' Supreme Court Ruling?

Due to the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the Brigid Alliance is taking some time to evaluate its operations, to ensure the organization is in compliance with the shifting laws and to keep our staff, clients and partners safe.

Our travel services are paused for the next week and we will update here as we reopen. The Brigid Alliance will continue as ever to make abortion access borderless, burden-free and accessible to all.
