On December 18, The Brigid Alliance released our 2024-2025 Annual Report, Measured in Miles, Defined by Care. The report reflects on our 2024-2025 Fiscal Year and marks a major milestone: Since our founding in 2018, we have helped our clients travel a total of 10 million miles to access abortion care.
In her opening letter, our Executive Director Serra Sippel writes, “In another year marked by shifting laws, rising costs, and relentless attacks on abortion care, The Brigid Alliance remained grounded in what matters most—our clients and the people who make our work possible.
… We supported 35% more clients than last year—nearly 500 additional individuals who overcame these barriers and accessed the care they needed. We also launched three key initiatives—the Southern Access Initiative, Last Mile Fund, and Client Engagement Program—each designed to close persistent gaps in access and meet the evolving needs of the people we serve.
Brigid’s work has always been about movement—finding a way when the system puts up walls. That spirit of perseverance defines who we are. Thank you for standing with us as we journey forward—mile by mile—toward a future where abortion access is borderless, burden free, and accessible to all. “
