When the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade nearly a year ago, we knew that the impact would be massive. But in the past year, we’ve seen researchers again and again quantify the actual impact.

Recently the Society for Family Planning found that over 66,000 people were unable to access abortion care in their home state in the last six months of 2022, a direct result of new bans or restrictions. That staggering number, and the barriers we know our clients are facing every day, motivates our team at The Brigid Alliance to work as intentionally and diligently as ever to grow our organization so we can help more abortion seekers who are being forced to travel long distances for care.

This week we’re releasing a new video that gives an inside look at how The Brigid Alliance operates – and we wanted you to be the first to see it. It can feel overwhelming to read the headlines about the increasing number of abortion restrictions and the traumas that abortion seekers are being forced to endure – but we want you to know that no matter how restrictive the laws, there is a powerful and growing network of organizations and advocates helping people access abortion care each and every day, no matter where they live.
